Royal Palm is the most prestigious address in the Indian Ocean. It is situated in the north of the island in the area of Grand-Baie. Within 30 meters of the beach and facing the turquoise lagoon are 66 deluxe rooms, four junior suites, three garden suites, eight senior suites and one royal suite. All facilities are a perfect blend of European comfort and tropical elegance. Amenities include double king-size or twin beds, private terrace, bathroom with shower, bath and separate toilets, hairdryer, individually controlled air-conditioning, direct dial telephone, television with video and 24 hour news, radio and music, minibar, and individual electronic safe. In the suites you have a private valet, a video player and video library. In the senior suites and in the royal suite there is a jacuzzi and all suites on the first floor have a private staircase leading straight to the beach. We have two restaurants: La Goelette overlooks the lagoon and Le Surcouf is near the pool. The main bar has a remarkable terrace jutting out to sea. There is also a beach bar where snacks and cold dishes are served. We have a piano bar in the evening followed by live band music until midnight. Land sports include three floodlit tennis courts, an air-conditioned squash court, a practice golf or golf course ten minutes away, table tennis, English billiards and snooker. Sea sports include wind surf, water skiing, sailing, pedalos, glass bottom boat, snorkeling. All sports are free of charge except big game fishing, lagoon trawl lin fishing, scuba diving, Trimaran cruising, and motor boat trips.
