Surrounded by old oak chestnut trees and located in one of the most quiet and pleasant areas of Florence, Relais Villa Antea has the unique charm of a luxury old house and offers a high quality stay together with the intimacy of a private house. Villa Antea was built in 1903 with the elegance and decors of an exclusive historical dwelling. The interior of the Villa is furnished with authentic old furniture that increase the glamour of the original decorations and give a special, charming atmosphere to both bedrooms and common areas. Villa Antea offers six wide and bright double rooms (3 superior, 2 deluxe and 1 junior suite), all furnished with parquet floor, silk tapestries, old paintings and antique pieces of furniture. Each room is also equipped with all modern comforts: extra-king-size beds, LCD TV, air-conditioning, WiFi internet, direct phone, minibar and personal safety box. On the ground floor there is a bedroom fit for use to disabled guests. All bathrooms are finished with Carrara marble, are extremely wide and have XXL shower-cabs with prom-jet. The Junior Suite bathroom has also an English style bathtub. The dining room has four big windows, silk tapestries, antique furniture and paintings, and it is particularly characterized by its floor alla palladiana (ancient mosaic work with polychrome marble). Here its served a special Italian breakfast, on previous request it is also possible to have different menus according to special diets (coeliac, vegetarian, ). The outside courtyard has got a pleasant area dedicated to the guests of the Villa, furnished with wrought iron coffee tables and chairs: ideal for cocktails at the sun-set or a pleasant afternoon-tea. During the summer time breakfast is served here. The new management characterizes itself for the special reception: guests are given personalized services and information, to make it be a unique and unforgettable vacation.
