The region located on the southern part of France, adjacent to Italy. Romans named it as it was one of Roman’s provinces outside Italy when ruled. Both inland and islands around the areas are nice to visit. Its Camargue is home to over 400 species of birds, particularly flamingo, where bulls, Black bears and Camargue horses join. Visit old buildings around there evidencing the coming of Greek and Roman. Enjoy Mediterranean climate, so the cuisine, which characterized by hot, dry summers, mild winters, little snow, and abundant sunshine. Provence’s wine and pastis are not-to-miss. The TGV fast train from Lyon and Paris do excellent trips to Provence’s Aix-en-Provence, Avignon, and Valence offering beautiful route to the region.
