The Pestana Casino Park Hotel is part of the complex that includes Madeira's Casino and Conference Centre. The complex was designed by the world famous Brazilian architect, Professor Oscar Niemeyer, and is a masterpiece of modern design and construction. The sense of space and the integration of natural light are the outstanding characteristics of this magnificent example of modern art. The hotel foyer represents the blending of artistic, spatial and natural elements and is set in extensive gardens mainly featuring trees and plants typical of the island. Most of the rooms have sea views and the remaining rooms have views over the hotel gardens.
