The park is situated on the northern part of Munich. After being used for the 1972 Olympic Games, today the Olympia Park and the surrounding are worth a visit. Only a few minutes to the underground bringing you directly from the central station and to the city centre. The park nowadays hosts many popular cultural events; fireworks, open-air rock and pop concerts during summer months. The area is the site of fashion centre, BMW headquarters and the Congress centre.
