| |  | | La Californie, once home to Picasso in 1955, is located further north east of Boulevard de la Croisette, you find the charming part of the city, La Californie, housing the overlooking Observatoire de Super-Cannes holding the height of 1067 ft including an observation tower, orientation table and the terminus of the old funicular. The Blv des Pins is the site of Memorial St Georges, remembrance of the Duke of Albary. Buses and trams running around Cannes are convenient, yet a bit expensive for short distant journeys. |
