| |  | | Floridsdorf, the 21st district of the City of Vienna, is on the left bank of the Danube River in the western Marchfeld area. Home to the city’s largest shopping centre, the SCN (Shopping Centre Nord) plus numerous other stores, some excellent restaurants and a fair amount of sightseeing opportunities, it is a good place to either stay or visit, when in Vienna. The Donaufeld Parish Church and the Vienna Islamic Centre Mosque are popular tourist attractions as is the Florido Tower and the rural settlements in the area such as the Settlement Jedlesee. Also worth visiting are Beethoven’s Memorial Place and the District Museum of Floridsdorf. The hotel choice here is good as is access to other parts of the city. |
