It is named after Chelsea in London. One of its Landmarks, Chelsea Piers was once the famous Titanic visited. Chelsea has good and easy access to the Garment District between 7th Ave and 26th, the heart of New York’s garment industry to get unbelievable deals from its fashion stores. The 7th Avenue is also known as Fashion Avenue, and it is home to the Fashion Institute of Technology. Macy’s Department Store is great for Christmas stuffs.
